Alice Scott appointed Deputy Director, Communications, California Technology Department

March 12, 2018: Alice M. Scott was appointed as the Deputy Director of Communications at the California Department of Technology by Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Scott, 63, Sacramento Democrat, was most recently the Deputy Director of External Affairs at the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank since 2014. She was previously the Director of Public Affairs at the California State Treasurer’s Office in 2014; the Deputy Director of Consumer Relations and Outreach at the California Department of Consumer Affairs from 2001 to 2004; the owner and president at Alice Scott Media Consultants from 1995 to 2001; and a reporter, producer and anchor at KCRA-TV in Sacramento from 1980 to 1998. Scott will be paid $126,288 per year in her new position.
