Patty Salazar appointed Colorado State Bank and Financial Services Commissioner

March 9, 2018: Patty Salazar has been appointed as the Colorado State Bank and Financial Services Commissioner at the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), effective yesterday, Thursday, March 8, 2018. Salazar’s appointment was announced on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, by DORA Executive Director Marguerite Salazar. In her new post, Patty Salazar will oversee DORA’s Division of Banking and Division of Financial Services. Patty Salazar was appointed as the Colorado Financial Services Commissioner in 2015. In 2016, she was appointed as the DORA Deputy Executive Director. In 2017, she was re-appointed as the Acting Financial Service Commissioner. Marguerite Salazar thanked Ken Boldt, who was the Acting State Bank Commissioner and who will resume his previous position as the Deputy Commissioner at the Division of Banking. Patty Salazar succeeds Chris Myklebust, who left the position on Nov. 30, 2017.
