March 9, 2018: Taylor Weyeneth has been appointed as an official at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Weyeneth has been charged with working on opioid policies, as a mid-level officials at HUD;s Office of Community Planning and Development, HUD Spokesman Raphael Williams said. Weyeneth was previously a Liaison at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. He was forced to leave that position after numerous questions arose about in consistencies on his resume and about his lack of experience for that job. Weyeneth previously worked as an aide on the Trump 2016 presidential campaign. Weyeneth starts at HUD as a general schedule 9 employee.
