Jesse Seroyer confirmed as U.S. Marshal for Alabama Middle District

March 9, 2018: Jesse Seroyer, Jr., was confirmed as a U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Alabama for a four-year term by the U.S. Senate on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Seroyer, of Alabama is a retired Special Projects Coordinator at the Office of the Alabama Attorney General, and he is a former U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Alabama. Seroyer has worked in law enforcement for forty-two years, starting at the Opelika, Ala., Police Department in 1976. He subsequently worked for five consecutive Alabama Attorneys General as a Chief Special Investigator, Director of Investigations and Deputy Chief Investigator, from 1987 to 2002. Seroyer was previously the U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Alabama from 2002 to 2010. He then returned to the Alabama Office of the Attorney General until he retired in 2016.
