Feb. 12, 2018: Larry Flood was appointed as the Director of Financing at the California Housing Finance Agency by Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. Flood, 62, Washington, D.C. Democrat, was most recently a Senior Policy Adviser at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a post he held since 2013. He was previously the Senior Consultant to the Multifamily Chief Credit Officer at Freddie Mac from 2011 to 2013; the Senior Consultant to the Senior Vice President of Multifamily at Fannie Mae in 2009 and 2010; and the managing director at M. R. Beal and Company’s Head of Housing Group in 2008 and 2009. Flood also previously worked as a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers from 1993 to 1996, and as the Assistant to the Treasurer at the New York City Municipal Assistance Corporation in 1981 and 1982. Flood received a master of business administration degree in finance and economics from Columbia University. He will be paid $175,008 per year in his new post.
