Lynne Boomgaarden appointed as Wyoming State Supreme Court Judge

Jan. 9, 2018: Lynne Boomgaarden has been appointed as a Wyoming State Supreme Court Judge by Gov. Matt Mead. Boomgaarden succeeds William U. Hill, who has been on the state’s Supreme Court since 1998 and who plans to retire on Feb. 17, 2018. Boomgaarden is currently a partner at Crowley Fleck, and she has worked for the firm for the past four years. She has worked as a lawyer in private practice in Cheyenne since 2010. She has also worked as a Career Clerk for Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Wade Brorby; as an assistant professor of law at the University of Wyoming College of Law; and as the Director of the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments from 2003 to 2010.
