Frederick, Md., Board of Aldermen Member Josh Bokee, Democrat, to leave office Dec. 14 after only one term on the Board

Dec. 6, 2017: Josh Bokee, Democrat, is scheduled to resign as a Frederick, Md., Board of Alderman Member on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, after only one term on the Board. The current Frederick Mayor and Board of Aldermen are scheduled to hold their last public hearing on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017. Newly-elected officials are scheduled to be sworn in on Dec. 14, 2017. Bokee previously worked as a director of government affairs in the private sector, and as a government policy and legislative analyst. Bokee received his master’s degree in community planning from the University of Maryland at College Park.
