Gretchen Corbin appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, Georgia Lottery Corporation

Dec. 4, 2017: Gretchen Corbin has been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia Lottery Corporation by Gov. Nathan Deal, effective on Jan. 1, 2018, Deal announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017. Corbin succeeds Debbie D. Alford, who resigned. Corbin is currently the Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Deal has appointed TCSG Deputy Commissioner Matt Arthur to succeed Corbin as TCSG Commissioner on Jan. 1, 2018. Corbin was previously the Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Deputy Commissioner of the Global Commerce Division for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Corbin is on the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute External Advisory Board, the University of Georgia (UGA) Board of Visitors and the Fanning Advisory Board for the J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at UGA. Corbin graduated from Clemson University and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
