Obra Kernodle resigns as Pennsylvania Governor's Deputy Chief of Staff to take new post

Dec. 4, 2017: Obra Kernodle was appointed as a Member of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board by Gov. Tom Wolf on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. Kernodle was most recently the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office. Kernodle was previously a senior adviser for Wolf’s transition team. He also previously worked as the Deputy for Legislative Affairs for Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. In 2012, he worked as the Pennsylvania Southeast Political Director for former President Obama’s re-election campaign.
