Jack Wilmer appointed Cybersecurity and Information Technology Adviser, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy

October 11, 2017: Jack Wilmer has been appointed as a Cybersecurity and Information Technology Adviser at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Wilmer was previously the Vice Director for the Defense Information System Agency’s (DISA) Development and Business Center at the U.S. Department of Defense. At OSTP, Wilmer is working on cybersecurity and IT modernization efforts. Wilmer’s detail is for one year, with the potential to extend the detail for another year. Wilmer joined DISA in 2010 from the private sector, where he worked on several network and enterprise services.
